What if the car isn't as described when I see it?

Walk away. Your $500 is refunded in full.

The reservation is a hold on the vehicle and an appointment to see it — not a commitment to buy. Show up, inspect the car, take it for a test drive, bring a mechanic if you want. If anything feels off — condition, disclosures, price — you leave and the sale doesn't happen. If the sale doesn't close for any reason, your $500 comes back to your card.
